The platform is a common structure, shared between all users. Please be respectful of others and follow the rules of use. Repeated non-compliance with these rules could result in exclusion from the platform.

Terms and conditions

Analyzers

Each new user must make an access request to the manager of the platform. Depending on the frequency of access, the user can be assisted by the manager or become independent after agreement and training. Only users who have received training and designated autonomous by the platform staff are authorized to use the cytometers at all times.

Sorter / Analyzer

On the FACSAria III SORP cytometer, sample sorting and analysis is done only by qualified platform personnel.

Reservation

Reservation of devices is mandatory regardless of the time of use. The reservation must be entered in the notebook corresponding to the device or be made by contacting the manager of the platform. The reservation periods must correspond to actual use of the device. Reservation periods will be charged if canceled less than 24 hours in advance.

Billing

Prices are subject to change once a year. Considering the sorter preparation time, a minimum sorting hour will be billed. The analysis and / or sorting of particles smaller than 1 micron in size requires extensive washing of the device before any reading. As a result, an additional hour will be charged.

Equipment usage agreement

The cytometry platform is committed to ensuring the maintenance and quality control of the instruments.

Users agree to:

  • Fill out the reservation book for each use and respect their reservations. The reservation periods must correspond to actual use of the device.
  • Strictly follow the operating procedures established for each device, including washing and decontamination.
  • Leave devices and the work area clean and tidy after use. Cleaning of the work area should be done by the user upon completion of their experience. Samples brought in by users must be returned to their respective laboratory and disposed of according to the procedures in force.
  • The last user registered on the work plan is responsible for applying the procedure for shutting down the device. After each use, check reservations to make sure someone is after you. If this rule is not followed, the hours during which the device has been left on will be charged.

Report any anomaly encountered to the manager as soon as possible.

Anyone registered for a period will be held responsible for any problem related to improper use of the devices during this period.

Samples

No sample should be left or disposed of with the platform waste.

Fixed samples should be transferred to PBS 1x solution prior to reading. No PFA sample should be acquired on the device.

Data management

The platform is not responsible for data recorded on computers associated with cytometers. Save your data at the end of your acquisition. After warning, the data will be erased by the personnel.
